Event Calls

While the ability to conference on demand without a reservation is a tremendous business tool, some conference calls need more features, more structure than a Reservationless-Plus Audio Conference can handle. Important, large scale events need a professional touch. Whether you are announcing financial results, or holding an important press conference, a dedicated Event call can be a professional alternative to more expensive managed events. With Audio, Video, and Web interfaces, our dedicated Event team will manage your event from planning through to post-call support, with a variety of features and benefits.

Custom Scripting
Custom Scripting may be provided by the customer to replace or augment any script available during the conference
Dial-InSeveral access options are available for dialling into a conference (Leader selects these options during the reservation process)
Dial-OutTen minutes prior to call start time, Operators call participants from a list provided during reservations and join them to the conference
Direct Entry
Participants can communicate with each other prior to the Leader joining the conference, or can be placed on music hold until the leader begins the conference
E-mail Confirmation
Automated reservation confirmation is sent to the contact after the reservation is scheduled
Encore Digital Recording
Increasing your event's reach, Encore digitally records your call for those who were unable to attend it live or would like to listen again. Accessible via toll, toll-free, local call and ITFS for easy, 24/7 access. See IVR section below for more information
Entry/Exit Tone
Tone plays when each participant joins or leaves the conference
Leader First
Leader is joined to the conference before any participants
Leader Last
Leader is joined to the conference after all participants have joined, at the request of the Leader, or at the conference's scheduled start time
PollingPoll your audience instantly using either the telephone keypad or online via a web conferencing service
Name Announce
Operator announces each participant's name as they are joined to the conference
Music Entry
Participants are placed on music hold until the Leader joins the conference
Participant List
Receive a list of those participants who joined your call
PasswordParticipants are required to provide a valid password in order to join the conference. Leader specifies the password during the reservation
Question & Answer Session
A formal question and answer session, hosted by the operator takes place at the end of the call. Participants notify the operator by pressing *1 on their keypad. The participant is then placed into conference to ask their question
Record Conference
Copies of events can be recorded to CD, tape or WAV format
RehearsalAllows the presenter/presenters the ability to rehearse their event, to use the service and increase their familiarity with it before the actual event
Roll Call
Operator recites the names of participants who are in the conference. Roll Call is executed after the Leader joins the call
Special AnnunciationParticipants are greeted by a customised announcement, which is played while participants are on hold for that specific conference
Sub-ConferenceAllows the leader and/or certain participants the ability to sub-conference at any time before, during or after the event
TranscriptionA written transcription can be provided upon request
TranslationTranslation of event can be provided upon request
